Sparks of Light – A Gnostic and Manichaean Myth | Pleroma

Pleroma is the name of the spiritual universe in Gnosticism and Manichaeism. Pleroma is the central divine entity in Manichaeism, meaning “the fullness” or “the world of light.” The Gnostic Pleroma comes from the root word pleros – meaning to fill up. The word pleroma means fullness or entirety. Still, it can also be translated as “fulness of knowledge” or “fullness of divine wisdom.”
